concerto for tables and chairs 2008
with Olivier Toulemonde version made in Paf Chapel
extracts live version of the concerto
Concerto for tables and chairs is a research which started last year with Olivier Toulemonde.
The specificity is to use chairs and working tables (small range) as instruments to produce sound. These instruments trough a certain manipulation on the floor create a sound and a resonance on an acoustic level in the space. With Olivier we had one week research and improvisations in the Paf Chapel St Erme France. The chapel had the particular acoustic which was fitting perfectly with the chairs and tables, and the ground was made of wood and stones.
