ARCHIVING THE WORKS
click on the database www.archivingtheworks.weebly.com
"Archiving the works "is a compilation of interviews i made with several artists coming from different fields :
musicians, writers, performers, dancers, theoreticians.
This compilation is an archive questioning the methods of working that we put most of the time outside of the final production that is done for an event or an exhibition.
What i am interested about this archiving methods is the process and the variations that each artist is using for producing a work.
By questioning them we could discover a continuity or a discontinuity of using tools for making a work of art.
several thematics were appearing in the first compilation i have done in 2009-2010: how to make a solo in dance? do you use appropriation as a tool of work? How do you write? does archiving is one way to keep traces of your work?
How do you classify your art? language? improvisation? cooking? modes of listening?
These recordings and interviews are available for you freely to be listen to for any used for your own work.
